Docusate - An Effective Earwax RemoverGreater Success in Softening/Dissolving Impacted Earwax Actions always speak louder than words. A clinical study* from the State University of New York (SUNY) conducted in 50 individuals demonstrated that docusate ( LiquiCera's active ingredient) is significantly more effective in dissolving impacted earwax. The following is a summary of the clinical study:
In other words, 8 of 10 people receiving one instillation of docusate had complete removal of their earwax blockage. This compares with only one in four for those receiving Cerumenex.

This clinical study clearly demonstrates that individuals using docusate are much more likely to have a successful or complete removal of their earwax blockage.
The ability of docusate to remove earwax was also demonstrated in children but the difference was even greater. Docusate was successful in removing earwax is 9 of 10 kids whereas Cerumenex was not able at all to eliminate the problem earwax.
No other earwax softener has been demonstrated to be this effective. The bottom line is if you want to put the odds in your favour, your best chance of removing earwax lies in docusate, the active ingredient in LiquiCera. The proof is in the clinical study.
